🕰️ Sunday Rewind!
Back in the 1970s, when the TECH Center was still known as Vo-Tech, health programs were already making a big impact! 🩺 Check out this snapshot of two students putting their skills to the test.
👀 Do they look familiar?

LISD Tech Center Law Enforcement and Corrections class hosted the parents of Curt Orlowski. Curt was one of two persons killed by an intoxicated driver in 2014 on US23. Students heard a powerful message about loss, grief, and forgiveness. In addition, students had the opportunity to utilize pedal cars and impaired driving simulation goggles to demonstrate the effect of intoxicating substances.

Huge congrats to Computer Information Services student Cameron Gawthrop, for earning his CompTIA Network+ certification—the very first student to achieve this post-COVID! Way to lead the way, Cameron!

Featured in this blast from the past is Ed Engle from Rima Manufacturing and a group of students. 👀 Do you recognize anyone in this snapshot of history? Tag them or share your memories in the comments! 🕰️📖
Stay tuned for more historical gems in the coming weeks! #SundayRewind #LISDHistory #Throwback
